What is touchpoint disinfection?

Touchpoint disinfection is the process of eliminating harmful germs from commonly touched surfaces.

Touchpoints are areas within a space that are frequently touched by many people. For example, door handles, chairs, table tops and counters, cabinets, refrigerators and office appliances are all touchpoints.

Disinfecting is the process of killing unwanted pathogens (viruses and bacteria) from surfaces.

When you put the two together it is the process of killing viruses and bacteria from commonly touched surfaces to ensure everyone's health and safety.

On average, a person touches their face 16 times an hour. By focusing on touchpoint disinfection, you minimize the chance of exposure to germs from surface to person.
