What is the Qualification Criteria to become an OctoClean Franchisee?

An offering for all people does not mean "all people" qualify. OctoClean must maintain the highest standards for franchise prospects to ensure brand value. This article explains the criteria.

Initial Selection Criteria

Franchise prospects must meet a criteria to be accepted as a franchise owner at OctoClean. The final approval of selection is determined by the criteria and a final interview by the COO, Matthew Stowe. Below is the criteria all prospects must meet to be considered. 

 

Required experience and qualifications. 

  1. The prospect must speak, read and write in english.
  2. The prospect must demonstrate a clear understanding of the franchise agreement and what the requirements are of the partnership. This is determined by asking specific questions relates to the documents provided. These would be items that are not reviewed in the presentation. It is imperative that the prospect read and understand the agreement. 
  3. An application has been submitted and is fully executed. 
  4. Personality assessment has been completed fully. Currently, this is done through Crystal and consists of 4 assessments. 
  5. The prospect lives in the current coverage area or has agreed to accept accounts in the area. Never more than 50 miles from the prospects home or business without written agreement by all parties. 
  6. Prospect has (4) months of living expenses in savings or has income to cover expenses. It is the goal that franchisees are only operating their franchise business but at times it is possible for the franchisee to continue with a career. If that job covers the expenses we will only require (2) months of living expenses in savings. 

Desired experience or qualifications.

  1. 3+ years of trade or industry experience. 
  2. Assessment match. There is a profile for the ideal franchisee candidate in Crystal. Speak to your Manager for more clarification.
  3. 2+ years of supervisory experience. 
  4. Has hiring and firing experience. 
  5. Has a partner that intends to work in the business with them.
